WD Apps - Connect To Drive Manually via IP Address

I currently have a WD Live Duo drive which resides on a seperate network segment and is not able to be found when searching the local network using the WD Photos or WD 2go Android Applications.

My cellphone is connected to the 192.168.1.0/24 network via Wifi and the WD Live Duo is on the 192.168.2.0/24 network. The WD Live Duo is accessible (routeable) via the gateway 192.168.1.1 but the search function seems to only be checking the local network segement.

What I would like to do is add a new drive via IP address, instead of via activation code over the Internet. Is there an XML file or something locally on the phone which I can hack to get this working?
