WD anywhere has recently backed up files from a new Win 7 64bit Acer laptop to WD MyBook World Edition NAS, but now it won’t back up new or amended files. Is this an easy fix or do I have to kill the current plan and start another? It takes a while to back up 75Gb. I have tried “refreshing” by clicking on “verfiy all backups” to no avail. It tells me all backups are up to date, even though I have added and amended a number of files since. Other computers on the network don’t have a problem.
What if you uninstall WDAB, clean the registry of the computer, re-install WDAB and then select the option to reactivate the backup plan?
