WD 6TB Blue - Any Way to Use W/ Old Bios?

Hi, all,

I have an older HP PC (https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01640562 that has a motherboard with a BIOS and not UEFI.

I recently bought a 6TB Western Digital Blue hard drive without thinking, I guess, and it seems that Windows 7 will only see it as a 2.5TB drive.

Is there anything I can do, is there any way to get this drive recognized by Windows 7 and my PC? Or do I need to ship it back? Thanks.

I would recommend that you get in contact with your computer manufacturer (HP) to see if your computer supports 6TB hard drives or connect the drive to another computer as a secondary disk and see if it shows up as 6TB.
