WD 5tb plugged in. During transfer, Windows says that it is only 237 Go available. What is there to be done???!!! New hard drive!

It seems the drive isn’t formatted properly. First, open Disk Management by pressing Win + X, then check if there’s unallocated space. If there is, create a new volume to use the full 5TB. If the drive shows errors, run CHKDSK by opening Command Prompt and typing chkdsk X: /f
(replace X with your drive letter). Also, some drives come with preloaded software that could limit the capacity, so check the WD website for any necessary tools.
