I’ve just purchased a brand new 4 TB WD Black Sata drive and installed in my gaming PC.
Booting the system (Which boots off a m.2) takes much longer with the new 4 TB drive attached.
and HDD is GPT after reboot it gone and cant access all my game
also can see the new drive in the Disk management screen, but when I try initialize it, it tells me it was unable to do so due to a disk I/O error.
in bios i can’t see the hdd and windows explorer i can see only at Disk management
I’ve tried the following:
Different Sata cable.
Different Sata port
Updated BIOS to latest firmware. asus 0707
None of this made any difference.
Is the drive faulty ?
I’m running Windows 10 2004
my spec:
asus maximus xii formula
i9 10900k
g skill royal 4000mhz silver
m.2 xpg sx8200
asus geforce 2080 super strix
psu asus thor 850w
and this HDD
when i replace this hdd to samsung 860pro ssd 512GB it work perfect
please help me i don’t know what to do
