After owning 13 of these drives and having to RMA 5 of them, I’m tired of this. I have 2 of the 2Tb MyPassports and have no problems. I would like to know if I can send in the 3Tb My Essentials to exchange it for the 2 Tb MyPassport? I don’t want these unreliable drives anymore.

I don’t think ayone but WD techs knows if such a thing is possible, so you’re better off giving a call to WD.
