I have a Dell E521 with Vista Home Premium as the original OS but have sense installed the Windows 7 Home Premium upgrade. I installed the 3tb internal hard drive for storage only with no problems. Everything was fine until i inatalled a OCZ 60 gb SSD to run just my operating system. After all the installing was done that’s when my dell started recognizing only 746gb of the 3tb drive.
My question … is it a driver problem, firmware problem or what?
I have tried just about everything under the sun i.e. BIOS upgrade, chipset driver install and even called Dell support with no success ( kept sending me to different Departments until I just hung up on them)
