WD 1TB Blue: Mirroring/backup time?

The source drive currently has about 250 GB of data on it.

I want to mirror it using the WD - supplied drive backup software Acronis true Image.

I know this will be a rubbery figure, but is it 1 hour to  mirror to a second drive or 10 hours?

Also, what happens if , for instance, I have a TV recording scheduled for within the backup time? Will it interfere/be interfered with by the back up proces?

Everything can interfere, from a running process to an update, also your physical computer specs play a roll as well… A powerful computer giving full resources to the cloning process should take around 3-6 hours for 250 GB.
