I updated my WD software and now I have no back up source displayed on the home page, only target locations.

My computer should be listed as an option for a backup source.

If I got to the setting page my computer is listed for software settings.

What must I do to be able to back up my computer when the software won’t allow me to chose it as a source for backup?

Did you try going to the Backup tab and see if it will show the computer as an option?

Since updating the software there is no backup tab only Home, Settings, and Help.

The help tab tells me to choose a target option from the home page. There is a “back up source” section on the home page but no source options to choose from.

Maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this. You can do so either by phone or email.
