Hello I just bought a WD Gold 18TB (WD181KRYZ) and it produces a whistle that I can also hear at a distance of 4-5 meters with closed computer case. It’s an annoying sound. I’ve a lot of other WD gold 12TB and 14TB and no one produces such a noise. I recorded two sounds, one recorded with x3 WD Gold 14TB (open computer case) and another recording with x1 WD Gold 18TB (open computer case).
