[WD 10B8 2TB] HD recognized but does not work

Hi,

I have a WD 2TB (Elements 10B8) and it does not show up anymore in “Comptuer” when I plug it. It is recognized because the computer installs drivers at first plug in and he is in the list of devices :

I have installed the WD software (Data Lifeguard) to test it but there is no error.

Hi, you can try assigning a drive letter and if the computer is able to recognize it.

Somebody used my disk to backup his Mac (not readable on windows)… I just formated it to DOS (with the mac) and to NTFS just after with my PC. Now it works properly.
