is it possible to watch movies stored in my cloud thru samsung hdtv that is not DLNA capable? can i use usb cable to connect NAS with samsung tv or i need WD my tv?

Unfortunately, I don’t think you will be able to setup the drive like that with the USB cable since the USB port on the drive is to connect another drive to it.
I think you will need to get a media player if your TV is not capable through the network.
