Watching movies from WD Passport on Samsung TV

G’day…

I’m sure this question has been answered before however…

 

My WD Passport 1TB is recognized on my MacBook Pro - I’ve saved movies onto this which is awesome. However when I plug it into the Samsung TV - it recognises the Passport but doesn’t recognise that there are movies on this.

 

Is it the files I’m using or is there something else I need to do??

The drive most likely needs to be formatted FAT32 to work on the TV. Reformatting the drive will delete everything on it. Try posting in the TV section for more help sooned.
