I recommend you try FileBrowser first so you can also set it up for remote access as well. FileBrowser is very similar to using your PC to find media on your WD drives. You just need to add the drives to your FileBrowser listing. Keep in mind that the iThings can only directly play media files that are native to the device (e.g. mp3, m4a, etc.) Files not native to the iThings (e.g. ISO, MKV) need to be transcoded to play them, and some of the apps on this list do that.
I will be adding a seventh app to this list, asap; just need time to do it. Meanwhile, the current list will give you plenty to do!
