Has anyone had a good experience with calling customer support??
I have registered and uploaded the invoice from my drive and they advised me to call in to ensure the warranty update was confirmed.
Every time I try to call in, I end up speaking to someone that has a very limited understanding of English and is clearly reading from a script.
For several weeks now, they are unable to authenticate the sent in warranty update (copy of email invoice) and I am still without a replacement hard drive.
As this is a business drive, I have replaced it with a different one (CERTAINLY NOT WD) but am still trying to get this hdd replaced.
Complete mess dealing with WD for hdd support. Don’t know how my drive experience with go with the other company, but I can not imagine it will be worse than what has happened so far with WD.
