Warranty on replacement drive

Just received my advance warranty drive (thanks very much), however when I run the warranty checker on the serial it states it is “In Limited Warranty” but with an expiration date of 11th June 2013, which is one month ago.

How can I clarify the warranty available on this drive?

Hi once they receive the old drive back the warranty will be fixed.

Any idea how long it takes to update? WD have received my faulty hdd back.

Hi it may take a week or so for them to update the web page. If after that time they dont you may need to contact them but they always update.

My Macpro went to white screen   about 3 months ago.  Iset it aside and now find out

WD hard drive is failing.  Problem :  warranty expired 2 months ago.

Is there any hope of replacement?
