I’ve got a WD black 750G sata drive that was supplied as a warranty replacement. The decal on the drive cover shows a date of May 2014 but when I run disks on it it shows a pre-fail condition and over 5 yerars power on hours I tested the drive when it arraived and it should show 10 hours. I then put it on the shelf until needed - i.e., now. When the warranty replacement was made I was told I’d have warranty under the original term, which would be August 2015 but the warranty check shows out of warranty. **bleep**??
