Want to reformat My Passport for Mac

I want to remove all data from my wife’s My Passport, which is already formatted for Mac. I then want to reformat the Passport again for Mac. When it was brand new, I it was no problem to format from my PC.

The problem is that my PC does not see the Mac-formatted drive.

My wife is afraid to wipe the drive from her Mac. There’s too much important data on the Mac.

What’s the best way to do this?

If this has been answered elsewhere, can you direct me to the answer.

We would recommend you backup all the data on any computer or any storage device before formatting the hard drive.
