Want To Be Sure - Malware Or Harmless?

I have a WD “My Passport Ultra” and I encountered this message recently: “Older version of WD Drive Utilities (1.3.0.18) is currently installed.” Then I see two choices “Upgrade” (in a boxed rectangle) and “Cancel” (also in a boxed rectangle). The “Upgrade” has a blue and yellow shield icon; I want to make sure that selecting “Upgrade” is OK, will not cost me trouble or money! Please advise and thank you for your help.

Hi, if you had the app before then it should be fine.
