After a 3 yr old 1TB WD Blue HDD failed I now have a new pc… (with a WD 1T SDD)… while most things seem to be working a couple aren’t… Help please!!
“Groove/Media Player” is playing music on the internal SDD fine but it when told to add music into the library it shows a blank screen for “Network”
How do I make it see my huge music collection on the WD Mycloud (type that could not be updated so is now final firmware and intranet only)
Acronis has backed up my new pc fine… it has even found a 2018 back up that hasn’t updated since 2018 but it seems to be missing anything under a different pc name since… eg the update from last week! How can I search for backups or even files when backups seem to be hidden when I use file explorer to look at the drive (it shows me only the music, photos, video folders)…
If all you are seeing is the Music, Photos, Video folder it means you are likely viewing the Twonky DLNA media server on the My Cloud. If the My Cloud isn’t showing up properly (by its name rather than by it’s IP address) in Windows File Explorer you may need to enable SMB1.0 in Windows since Microsoft disables that setting in recent Windows updates or new Windows installations.
