I have a My Passport with a cable connector which is blue.
I have USB ports which are red and white.
The USB drive is about 4 years old.
Since yesterday Windows 10 only sees My Passport when connected to
an USB 1.1. Not anymore to a red port.
i have tried them all.
Only the white port (1.1) it is recognized.
What could be the problem ?
Maybe your PC’s Red USB Ports ?
Have you tried another USB Portable Drive ?
Have you tried the My Passport on a different PC or another Blue USB Port device ?
Have you tried a different USB Cable ?
Have you re-installed your Motherboard USB drivers ?
The problem could be anything … you need to do more trouble shooting steps to isolate what the problem could be.
