Volume swings when playing playlist

Is there a way to controll volume when playing playlist.

I want to make a cartoon channel for kids in home network now i am using xml playlist but now i have to adjest volume between videos. Any sujection how to have my own channel like PBS kids I have plenty of cartoon saved in my hard drive.

With audio files that support Replay Gain, yes.

But I’m not sure if the same holds true for video files – and either way, IIRC, it doesn’t work if you’re not using the Stereo outputs.
