VOB playback trouble after the new firmware update?

Is anyone else experiencing problems with VOB playback?

The video seems to stutter for a while then clears up then the same process repeats, everything else is fine.  MKV files play fine, its just the VOB files.

Before the most recent firmware upgrade, everything played fine.  Is there a fix for this, is WD working on it?

If you would have searched before posting, you would have seen that it is a well-known issue…

There is no fix. The only thing you can do is either downgrade to 1.03.49, or re-encode the dvd to an ISO file. I chose the downgrade route because I do not have the time to re-encode.
