Virtual CD took place of regular CD

When looking at my drive list a few minutes ago, I noticed that the WD Virtual CD had displaced my regular CD as a drive.

How could this have happened?

I know I am at the most current firmware and software for the My Book.

If anyone can provide a procedure or KB article to reverse, I would appreciate it.

Have you searched the rest of the forum about this? I’d give it a try. You can also contact WD’s Technical Support by phone or email.  If there’s a solution, recommend they put it in a Knowledge Base article.

Bill - I decided to reach out here first.  On other boards, I have better luck frankly with forum members that with company support.

However I iwll submit this issue to technical support and, if the solution works, have them make it into a KB article.
