I just upgraded to firmware 1.02.21. i keep my player turned off and when i turn it on, it takes about 5 minutes to load the first video. thereafter once loaded the videos play fine and load quickly. its just the first play video that takes ages to load.
any ideas on how to fix?
Welcome to the forums.
After a firmware upgrade it’s important to reset to factory defaults (and then restore all you had). Try and and see if it helps.

Are you playing via a connected disc or network shares / media server.
