Video will not resume after power off

I see someone posted that they have the same problem that a  video will not resume from last viewing spot after a power  off and on.

But that was last year , is there any point upgrading from my 1.02.21? One response was that if you have  recently manufactured unit it will not remember. Maybe I should just return it.

me too i exhausted trying everything to get my wdtvlive to write resume points to hdd
