Hi everyone! i would like to ask if i could setup the player to display video via HDMI and output the audio via RCA going to a home theater component (Sony) so that i could use its 5.1 speakers… thanks in advance…
Yes, the player has an HDMI 1.3 ouput. It also has an SPDIF digital optical output for connecting to a 5.1 surround amplifier. As far as RCA cables for audio, the WD box has stereo only output from the RCA connectors.
