Dear Wd People,
thanks for coming out with tis great server like solutio. I uploaded al my media on WD. The point i made was to go for a much cheaper solution than MAC TY [Deleted] price and untunable server. Hower I am deeeeeply deceived by the contsnt freezes during reading of an avi file. The larger the file the huger the freezes,25 % of the time is lost in a process of: stop fiel, then play then push random playstation bpttuns (playstation is connected to router and accesses not only WD but also windows media center via my Vista Workstation. This issue is a very painful freeze that seems to be icresing on larger video file.
Should I change to fixed IP instead of Dynamic. Please help me before I get desperate, throw the mavhine in the bin and switch on the well hated apple TV tool.
