Video files on My Passport

Lots of wmv, etc., videos and clips show up on the Video sector of My Passport when I connect to the TV (along with the watchable .avi films I have downloaded on the computer and transferred to My Passport).  But when I open the D drive on the computer and go to the Video sector of My Passport, these do not show up. I want to delete them. How do I do it? All help is welcome. Thanks

Now this is weird, the TV can see the files and the PC can not?

How did you copy the files then? They should be on the very same folder you created to store the files…
