I am new on this forum and have a question:

I want to use my data stored on my device also offline. If the computer is connected to the device, it shall make an update automatically, so same function as cloud storages like skydrive. Is that possible?

Hi, I don’t really understand your question, if you are trying to access the My Book from your local network, you don’t need to have internet access. If you are trying to access the My Book live from a remote location, you need to have internet access. If you refer to do an automatic backup to the My Book live, you can use Smartware.
