A drive formatted NTFS will be read only on a Mac. You can reformat the drive to FAT32 but the biggest file it will accept is 4 gig. There is software that might work If you can find a link for NTFS-3G that still works http://mac.softpedia.com/get/System-Utilities/NTFS-3G.shtml It went pay and many links no longer work.
