Using My Passport on Windows 11

First of all, I need to admit that I am not at all tech savvy!
I have a My Passport (WDBBEP0010BBL-01 is what is on in) that I used on my older computer. I want to use it with my Windows 11 computer. Should I just try to format it? Also are there drivers that I need to download for it?

The last it was used was 2022.

You can use it as an external drive and you don’t need to format it, but if you want to use it networking then you need to install the SMB1 client feature option.
