Using My Book Live for Xbox 360 saved game data

Hello all. I am on my second my book, this time going with the my book live that directly hooks into my network as opposed to a usb connected 1 TB device that I had previously (it’s finally dying.) I have saved game data on the usb connected HD that I want to migrate to the new network my book. I can share video and audio files in the normal manner, but when attempting to get my xbox to recognize the device for game data it does not appear. In the past, connecting the device would ask to format it so that 32 GB could be utilized for game data. Is there a way to do this with the my book live?

It does not have a usb connection to connect directly to the xbox and I cant find any previous threads with this topic.
