I want to place a My Book Live at my parents house (same country, different city) and use this My Book Live as a NAS. The My Book Live would be attached to a Router in my parents house.
Question:
Can I access the My Book Live over the internet from my home and use it as a Backup Storage/Cloud Storage (eg. Apple Time Machine)? I’m wondering if this works or if the My Book Life has to be necessarily in my own home network.
B/c of the fact I can access my already stored files remotely from a different place, I assume this also works as I wrote above?
