Using elements usb 3 1tb disk as a ghost boot disk

I have been using an iomega usb2 160gb hdd for years now as a ghost boot disk with the images stored on the disk to load.

I have run out of space for new images so decided to upgrade top a biggre faster disk - the aforementioned elements 1tb.

The BIOS of the machines I want to restore or take images from do not recognise the elements hdd so I cannot boot from it.

Anyone know how this can be rectified or do I need to go back to a smaller capacity and USB2 drive ?

Check with the Bios manufacturer to see what capacity drive is supported for that feature
