Using Backup after system crash

#1

I had a complete system crash and had to reinstall windows 7 64bit. After reinstalling WD Anywhere backup I tried to get to restore my backup plan. When I went to search for my Sharespace on the network it would show, very briefly, in the window and then disappear. Any thoughts?

No but if it’s anything like the buggy Smartware you need the same version you used for backup to retrieve. Probably a call to customer service is best.

On November 10th 2009, Western Digital released a Windows 7 compatible version of WD Anywhere Backup

the wd share space is not on that list

I would suggest you install anywhere back up on vista or xp and then map the drive on win 7

here is how to restore the back up
