Using ACRONIS Backup, I do not see any Recovery Items

BACKGROUND: I just installed a WD MY BOOK 4TB external drive for my Windows 10 PC.
Using ACRONIS True Image for WD, I did a full backup and 3 differential backups and validated all of them.
PROBLEM: Then, I went to the Recovery tab. The message on there said “No data to recover yet. Create your first backup version to see its contents here”.
The full backup was the first backup.
QUESTION: How do I straighten it out? Do I have to reformat the hard drive again as NTFS? Do I have to lose the four backups?

Your detailed help would be appreciated.

There might be issue with the image which you have created using Acronis true Image or else there is an issue with the drive. Most of the times, the error message “Access is Denied” indicates that there is some problem with the hard drive, which has made the hard drive inaccessible.

You can also switch to Stellar Data Recovery Professional software to create disk image and perform data recovery.
