I have two 3 TB MyBook backup drives. Does the software allow for me to use one drive one day and the other drive the next? Will the software discover the new files which were created when the drive was disconnected? Both drives are being connected to the same USB port and appear as (F:)

The WD Smartware software will create a different backup plan for each drive. Each backup on each drive would be the same since they are backing up the same computer.
WD Smartware will update the backup on the drive that’s connected and discover any changes that has been done since the last backup on that drive.
