Anyone create users and as soon as you click anywhere else (storage, shares, etc) and then go back to users, they have disappeared? If you put in the same user again, it will say that the email address already exists. Did I miss something obvious?
You should check for firmware update and install updates if available. However, you may also try to check after the power cycle and reboot device to check for this issue.
