I reformatted my 4tb MyCloud Mirror to JBOD with the intent to have Sync sync all of my files, pictures, music, etc on a continuous basis inVolume 1 and then have SmartWare serve as a backup app on Volume 2. Is this possible, and how would I go about doing it? I see the SmartWare Share, but I cannot change the location from Volume 1 to 2. Thank you in advance.
You would have to create a new share for Smartware on Volume 2.
Once that’s done you can set in the Smartware program where it saves to (which share) - just select the new one. If you want to you can copy the data from the old share to the new one, or just start afresh with a clean new backup.
