Use as a usb drive only? Possible?

Hi, is it possible to use the My Cloud as a USB drive only?  This thing just isnt reliable enough to get any use out of it.  I bought a pogoplug from ebay ($15 free shipping) and its reliable.  I was thinking of just pluging the My Cloud into the back of the pogoplug by usb and just use the 3TB storage capacity.

lol.  Ok.  I’ll just rip the hard drive out and put it into another enclosure.  Thanks!
