How sustainable is the USB-C power delivery on the G-Technology 4TB G-DRIVE USB-C External Hard Drive to a MacBook Pro 2018? My concern is that it will be pushing 45w constantly and may cause the power unit to burn out.
45W is under the charge rate the newest MBP use so it will never cause that type of issue. It is just enough to hold the charge while attached.
