USB external drive vs PC internal drive

Hello Everyone,

I have a quick question re: a USB external drive vs PC internal drive.

I have the WD live Hub has a 1TB internal drive…

Currently I have all my movies on my PC intenal HHD and stream them over wireless to the WD Live Hub…(works great)…

but since I have way more than 1TB woth of movies I now have buy more storage so I was thinking of buying a 2TB HHD for my PC or shoul I get the WD USB 3.0 extrenal HHD and plug that into my WD LIve Hub?

Both solutions will work, however if most of your movies are in HD you may have better resultts with a direct USB connection than wireless.

Kind of what I was thinking…Most of the movies I have are HD and they are  large files…The WD Live HUB has 2.0 USB and the WD Essentials has a 3.0 USB and the WD Element has 2.0 USB. So Will that matter ? …

The WD Essentials that has USB 3.0 will step down to USB 2.0 speed
