I periodically attach a USB external drive to my EX4 to do backups, however when I try to setup the jobs, on the screen where I select the source and destination folders, I make the selection, but it never reflects back into the textbox. I consequently can’t save the job as it considers those boxes still empty. Anyone else having this issue?

Thank you, that was the trick. I didn’t realize that those were checkboxes next to the folder names. Once I checked the checkbox, it worked as normal.
