after using configurator to set RAID 1, and Disk Utility to initialise, only single drive icon showing up and RAID status not showing in Mac hsystem profile:
“This system doesn’t contain any supported hardware RAID devices. If you installed hardware RAID devices, make sure you installed them properly.”
Help!!!
There is nothing wrong, it is exactly as it is supposed to work.
Hardware RAID means your computer has no idea it is a RAID as the hardware controlling it is in our enclosure. The computer will only ever know it is 1 single drive. That is the whole point of the hardware RAID.
