Upside Down Drives

Hi All

I tried to reach out to WD Support on twitter but recieved no reply, i was wondering if someone here could let me know if there is any downside to running WD drives upside down?

I want to lie my case on its side for reasons, but as the drives are situated on the back of the motherboard side it would mean when its on its side the drives would be upside down, I dont know if this would harm them at all or anything.

you’ll be fine.

Desktop Drives: The drive can be mounted in a standard 3.5"device bay. The drive can be mounted sideways, on end, or even upside down as long as the mounting screws are used properly.

I agree with Joey, although one has to be aware of blocking any vents on either side, so I would lay the side with the most vents facing up.
