Uploading Non-Photo/Video files in Android App

How do I upload a general file (document, pdf, etc) to a folder using the Android App?

The App lets me create folders but only upload photos and videos that are on my tablet. Files that I have stored in different places on my tablet can’t be accessed for upload by the App.

Please don’t tell me that this is yet another limitation of this product that is about to be kicked to my curb…

Uploading Files using My cloud app on android device is not supported. Only photos and videos can be uploaded using the app.
