Ive recently upgraded my PC from a windows 7 type to a Windows 8.1. I am now not able to transfer either from PCor directly from usb to MY BOOK. Ive reset it and its using latest firmware, it’ll transfer pictures but no films. it stops at around half way through transfer. please help.
Have you rule out transfers without using the usb drive? Seems like the usb device issue to me. Also note this is not my book but wdmycloud section of the forum.
Sorry it is wdmycloud. I’ve had a reply from wd about re mapping the section of HDD associated with movies. As i’m not that savi with computer i’m looking to see if easy option.
