Upgrading the My Cloud with external WD Elements

Hello!

I have the My Cloud 3TB.

I want to add the WD Elements 5TB (WDBWLG0050HBK) to the USB on the My Cloud.

Does anyone know if the My Cloud supports 5TB external device?

Hi there and welcome to the WD community.

I have not tried this, but I haven’t seen any limitation with the MyCloud regarding the size of USB drives. Lets  see if another user has tried this and can share some ideas and tips on this matter.
