Upgrading My Book 500Gb

Hi I would like to upgrade my 500Gb drive to something larger (probably 1Tb) however I am uncertain as to the maximum capacity te case will support.

Th unit is out of warrenty so no issues there and I can strip the unit.

Is a 1Tb drive is supported by a WD500P032?

I think the logic board is setup ton only recognize the same capacity. If you install a bigger drive the it won’t work.
